What is Delta-8?

Delta-8 THC is a psychoactive compound that is naturally produced by the Cannabis sativa plant, which includes marijuana and hemp as its two varieties. Although there are over 100 cannabinoids produced by the cannabis plant, delta-8 THC is not present in significant amounts in the plant. Therefore, concentrated amounts of delta-8 THC are usually manufactured from CBD that is derived from hemp.

What is Delta-9?

Delta 9 THC is a compound that occurs naturally in hemp plants. When the level of Delta 9 THC is less than 0.3% by dry weight volume, it is considered legal under the Federal 2018 Farm Bill. Therefore, hemp that contains low amounts of Delta 9 THC is permitted to be grown and used.

What is THCa?

THCA, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is a non-psychoactive compound found in raw cannabis. When exposed to heat or light, THCA converts into THC, the well-known psychoactive component of cannabis.

What is the difference between Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid strains?

The common understanding is that Indica strains are known for their physical sedation, making them a perfect choice for relaxing evenings or as a nightcap before bed. On the other hand, Sativa strains are believed to have energizing effects, making them great for physical activities, social gatherings, and creative projects. Hybrid strains, as the name suggests, are a mix of Indica and Sativa effects.

What is Microdosing?

Microdosing is a technique that involves taking small doses of a potent substance to maximize its benefits while avoiding any potential negative effects. In the case of Delta 8 & 9 THC products, microdosing is an effective way to experience the benefits of THC between your regular servings. If performed properly, microdosing can help you adjust your THC intake so that you can get the most benefits from the products you are using.

How is this legal?

Our ability to operate is possible due to the 2018 Farm Bill. This bill removed hemp-derived cannabis products from the controlled substance list, as long as they meet specific requirements. At Semillas, we take the utmost care in crafting all of our products. All of our products are tested for safety by third-party labs. We prioritize the quality of our products to provide the best for our customers.

How long does Delta-8 & Delta-9 THC stay in your system?

While conventional wisdom suggests that THC remains in your system for 30 days, it actually depends on a few factors. How frequently you use it is a significant aspect: if you only smoke occasionally, THC will likely clear out of your system more quickly compared to smoking every day for months. Additionally, different types of tests have different windows of detection: a urine test can usually detect THC for up to 30 days, blood for a day or two, and hair for up to 90 days.

Will this show up on a drug test?

Our products will cause you to test positive for THC. We recommend not using them if you are required to pass a drug test for marijuana.
